Bangalore ChildLine partners and Department of Police jointly organized press meet on 19th March 2013 to release of posters on the roles of police in protection of children. The press meet was held at Conference hall of Police commissioner's, office Bangalore.

Mr. Pranav Mohathi, Joint Police Commissioner was released the poster. The team of Bangalore ChildLine including directors were present in the press meet. The information on ChildLine and the information which the poster has shared with media. The posters were distributed among the police of different police divisions of Bangalore. The release of the posters had appeared in different media.

Observance of Anti Child Labour Day

 

Bangalore ChildLine, APSA, BOSCO and CRT jointly observed of Anti Child Labour Day on April 30, 2012 at Bangalore with the Children. Pluck cards were used in the awareness programme.

Ms. Shashikala Shetty, Joint Director, ICPS – DWCD and Mr. Basavaraj, Member of Child Welfare Committee were presented. Children were interacted with Ms. Shashikala Shetty.

The team members collected hand impression on the cloth which has write up of Stop Child Labour by the guests also by the Children.

Bangalore ChildLine team organized National Initiative Child Protection workshop with Police officials on child protection on 28/12/2012. Around 60 people were participated in the workshop.

Bangalore ChildLine partners along with other NGOs and departments rescued Bonded Labours near Nelamangala.

Rescue Operation in Bangalore

Bangalore ChildLine partners along with other NGOs and departments rescued begging children on August 23rd 2012 at Bangalore city. 155 people were rescued among that 100 children were there.
