Awareness Programme in St. Joseph Indian High School
On 6th August 2010, CMCA had organised event “Inspiration” 2010 held at St. Joseph’s Indian High School. CMCA had organised this event to inculcate civic consciousness among children for a enhanced way of life and spread awareness on environmental issues. On this special occasion they gave ChildLine chance to put up kiosk. There were more than 2500 students from all over Bangalore. Most of the students and teachers visited our stall and appreciated our work. Many students expressed their delightedness when they realised there are systems to respond immediately and venture for rights and upholding the rights of child. They referred few cases to ChildLine team members and enquired what kind of rehabilitation will be given to vulnerable children. They also ensured to spread child rights in school and to their acquaintance. Chief Guest for this event was Mr Robbin Uthappa gave surprise visit at Afternoon. He conveyed enthusiasm speech to students and asked to make use of these opportunities for their development and to be good citizen of India. He also shared his unfortunate for not having enough opportunities during his childhood days what we have today. we received positive feedback and it was good exposure among school children through this event.
